- It is run by volunteer sailors with back-up by part time professional administrators
- The sailors make the plans and decisions - without having to do all the leg work

- The cost is tiny compared to your benefits, working out less than a cup of coffee a month!
- By taking out International Class Association membership for one class, you will have reciprocal membership to the RS100, RS200, RS300, RS400, RS600, RS700, RS800, RS Vareo International and International RS500 Class Associations
- One event membership is available for all events except National and major championships, for use by those borrowing a boat, intending to only sail in one RS Class Association event etc. Click here.

Gul RS800 Nationals - Thank You Sponsors!
Many thanks to the RS800 committee who worked hard before and during the Nationals. They received sponsorship for the fleet to support the event and, as a result, many of the socials were subsidised and there were a whole host of great prizes up for grabs throughout.

Gul are the title sponsors and, as well as sponsoring the running of the RS Assocation generally, they also provided overall prize vouchers and gave a multi-tool to each competitor.
Harken sponsored Monday night and provided £250 towards the Chilli Peppers Tribute band
Hyde Sails sponsored Monday night and provided £250 towards the Chilli Peppers Tribute band
LDC Racing Sailboats made a generous contribution of £300 to subsidise the evening meals
Daily sponsor, Holmenkol, providing 6 packs of Seal n Glide for asymmetric, Sport Polish for the hulls, a bag of care fleeces for the Sport Polish & Textile Wash for kit
Lazyhook, the clever "one-handed" hook on system developed by a 49er sailer. Two of these custom designed hooks were provided by Reekie Design
Seasure provided two 'Golden rudder stocks' for Gold and Silver fleet daily leaders. A host of other great prizes were also provided which complimented the daily prize givings
Extremity provided 6 pairs of wetsuit trousers, wetsuit boots, and a range of other prizes
Velocitek provided 6 GPS units for daily tracking and feedback along with 2 as prizes and a 20% discount voucher for all competitors valid till 30/9/07.
Pete Vincent's West Country Boat Repairs provided £150 to cover the DJ on the Saturday night. Pete also acted as the event liason as well as being on site for boat repairs
C2 Marine were another daily sponsor with 6 x £25 gift vouchers as well as a 10% discount voucher for each and every competitor
