- It is run by volunteer sailors with back-up by part time professional administrators

- The cost is tiny compared to your benefits, working out less than a cup of coffee a month!
- By taking out International Class Association membership for one class, you will have reciprocal membership to the RS100, RS200, RS300, RS400, RS600, RS700, RS800, RS Vareo International and International RS500 Class Associations
- One event membership is available for all events except National and major championships, for use by those borrowing a boat, intending to only sail in one RS Class Association event etc. Click here.

RS800 events at Royal Lymington YC
Royal Lymington Yacht Club is hosting events for RS classes on three consecutive weekends this summer; these will be held in the Solent so are great preparation for the Nationals at HISC:
- 28/29 July: Summer Dinghy Open with windward/leeward courses
- 4 August: RS800 training with coaching by ex-National Champion Pete Barton (Saturday only but can join in with club racing on Sunday 5th)
- 11/12 August: RS800 & RS600 Gul Grand Prix
Sailors who have entered any 2 or 3 of these events will be able to leave their RS at Lymington between events.
Places for the RS800 training on Saturday 4 August will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is £50 per boat, payable to the Club to secure your place. To book a place for the training, contact the yacht club directly on 01590 672677.
