The pre-event coaching with David Hivey will be run from 10am until approximately 4pm on Wednesday 7 August at ESSC. There are still a few places available.
Why not take advantage and give yourself the edge?
For the day we will concentrate on three critical points.
- Upwind boat speed - holding lanes off the line and when to foot or pinch??
- Starting - Acceleration techniques and pre start routines.
- Downwind tactics - Gybing points and attacking or defending?
To do this we will have 3,2,1 go starts with changing lengths/biased lines.
If the conditions are suitable then we will do tuning runs as well.
At lunchtime we will discuss if anyone would like some other exercises to work on anything in particular.
There will be a video debrief after the morning and afternoon session and then an open forum question time over a beer or two.
