If you've all recovered from Garda & Plymouth, the time has come to think about sunny Lymington for your next (5th of 6) Grand Prix event. 20/21 September, Lymington Town SC. One of Sunday's races will also be the Bart's Bash.

Sharing with Merlin Rockets, we plan 3 races/day, starting at 1300hrs on Saturday, with a race briefing at 1130hrs.
The first race on Sunday will be the Bart's Bash Race, starting at 1030hrs. Under the Bart’s Bash Terms, a start must have a minimum of 25 boats to count towards the official record.
If there are 25 boats in both the RS800 & Merlin Rocket fleets, the intention will be that race one on Sunday will be the counted as the Bart’s Bash Race and will also count towards the event score. There will then be one further race that day to make it a 2 race day.
However, if there are fewer than 25 boats in either or both the RS800 & Merlin Rocket fleets, the Bart's Bash will be a combined short race, with both classes starting together on a simple short course. This combined result will be for the Bart’s Bash only and will not count towards the event score. This will be followed by 2 further races which will count towards the Grand Prix event. This will make it a 3 race day.

Entry fee for the Grand Prix event is £42/boat including a simple sailing supper & live music on Saturday night, or £33 for those not wanting supper. There will be a daily rate of around £17, excluding supper.
There will be a lively social on Saturday night, with live music in the bar with the best view on the Solent.
Very local camping has again be arranged at the sea scout's campsite. Just £5/person - book & pay at registration. Other accommodation details on club website.
