Breezy Inland Championship Rounds Off RS800 Rooster National Tour Event #5
The RS800s descended on Grafham Water on 4/5th October for the Inland Championships, doubling up as event number five of the RS800 Rooster National Tour.
Saturday’s racing was cancelled in advance as Storm Amy swept across the country, leaving it all to be decided on Sunday. Although the worst had passed, the fleet still faced full-on conditions with gusts up to 34 knots and plentyyy of capsizes to keep the rescue crews busy!
It was the sibling duo Blake and Brett Tudor who came away with the Inland Championship title. Huge congratulations to them for staying out there!
A big thank you as always to Rooster for their continued support of the National Tour, and to Grafham Water Sailing Club for hosting. Next and final event of the tour is the HISC Tide Ride - we hope to see lots of you there!
