- By taking out International Class Association membership for one class, you will have reciprocal membership to the RS100, RS200, RS300, RS400, RS600, RS700, RS800, RS Vareo International and International RS500 Class Associations

RS Class Association Secretary
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual for a part-time, flexible role. If you love the RS community and want to help shape the future of our fleets, we would love to hear from you.
Working from home, you will manage the vibrant RS200 fleet alongside other RS noughty fleets. A key focus of this role will be looking after our social media and event promotion to keep our community engaged. You will also attend some of our flagship events throughout the year.
The Class Secretaries create the calendar and manage RS Class Association dinghy racing and training events, maintain our website, support class committees and communicate with sailors, clubs, the media, sponsors and the public.
The role will be an anticipated 14 hrs per week on a part-time, self-employed basis, working from home, with some additional hours for attendance at RS Class Association events.
Qualifications/skills required
- Traditional and social media marketing experience, particularly Facebook and Instagram post creation
- Experience in basic graphic creation using tools like Canva
- Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of race management administration
- Be confident working independently and in collaboration with colleagues, clubs and sponsors
There is some scope to adapt the role to the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
