EVENT INFORMATION:The original Tide Ride was an event held for a number of years in the early 2000s. It was a massive festival sponsored by Red Bull and then by Holt.
Racing is held at high water. Races are short, fast and testing, with an upwind leg followed by a downwind leg through slalom gates which bring the boats together. This makes for exciting racing for competitors and spectators.
Only a small number of fleets can be invited due to the nature of the event. We envisage 3 asymmetric classes on Course 1 and foilers on Course 2.
Saturday’s races are heats which will result in half the fleet being knocked out. Semis and Finals follow on Sunday. Saturday night is Big Tide Ride Party Night!

Refund policy: If you cancel your entry before the early entry deadline we will refund all fees, minus a £10 admin fee. If you cancel after the early entry deadline, but before online entry closes our standard policy is to return 50% of fees. Where an event entry limit has been reached a refund will only be issued if another boat from the waiting list takes your place. If you cancel after entry closes we will not usually issue a refund. Please note that where entry is paid directly to the club and for club hosted events a different policy may apply - please contact the club for details.
