EVENT INFORMATION:Queen Mary Sailing Club (as part of the Selden SailJuice Winter Series Bloody Mary)
Come January you may be carrying a few extra inches of blubber after festive feasting. Don't despair, it will come in handy for our upcoming RS800 Development Day. Excitingly we've actually sorted a whole weekend of fun for you to get your chattering teeth into.
Saturday 7th sees the infamous
GJW Direct Bloody Mary pursuit race as part of the
Selden SailJuice Winter Series. We already have nine boats expressing interest in racing which means we will be counted as a fleet. So whilst we'll all be aiming to hunt down as many boats as possible, there will also be plenty to fight for amongst the 800 contingent. TOP TIP: be bullish in launching at the right time for you. You can enter and find more details about this unique and famous race
here
Sunday 8th and the 800s have been invited to take part in the morning club racing. If you have entered the Bloody Mary there is no additional fee to join in. Considering the amount of boats trying to leave on the Saturday afternoon, it is a good option to miss the traffic and make the most of the weekend. Following the successful formula of the last dev day we will plan to run a morning briefing, take part in the two club races and then follow up with some self run race training and of course some team grub.
If you are planning on attending the weekend then get yourself entered for the Bloody Mary
